Your Orange Car

Just a quick update on what we’ve been up to and what we’ve got planned over the next week or so.

Last year we signed up with Sound Hub Records, and recorded a few tracks at their studio in Belper. Your Orange Car was recorded and will be released worldwide on Saturday 31st January 2015.

A special thanks to Will Hausmann for providing us with some amazing artwork for both the single cover and the gig poster!

We recently received our first ever radio play on BBC Introducing in the East Midlands, and even managed to get an impromptu live interview – click here to listen back on the iPlayer – Song at around 19 minutes, interview at around 30 minutes.

We have since received subsequent plays over the following weeks. Thanks to the BBC and Dean Jackson for supporting us!

This past weekend we played our first ever gig abroad, in Karlsrühe, Germany, with support from What He Says? Thanks go out to everyone who made this possible, it has definitely gone down as one our top gigs!

On Friday 30th January we will be playing live on Amber Sound with an interview, a couple of live acoustic tracks and another play of the single ‘Your Orange Car’.

We will also be the feature of an article in the Derby Telegraph

You can pre-order the single from iTunes here – just remember to download it on Saturday!

To celebrate the launch, we are co-headlining a gig with fellow Nottingham band, August Actually, at Spanky Van Dyke’s on Saturday 31st January. Doors open at 7:30, £3 entry.

As a special thank you to anyone who purchases the single on Saturday, we are offering a second track, also recorded with Sound Hub, completely free. All you need to do is Tweet, Facebook or Instagram a screenshot of your purchase of ‘Your Orange Car’, and we will send you a download link for ‘East Midlands Parkway’.

We are also playing at Victoria Inn, Derby on Thursday 5th February.

No! Disco

“No! Disco, the quintessential pop rock band going completely in the right direction, riffs tighter than my trousers after sitting in a bath eating cake and reading razzle. You can take that to the bank.” —  Will Robinson, I’m Not From London
